Rangers International Football Club Foundation on Tuesday, 26th May 2026, held its Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) session at Government Technical College, Enugu. The session focused on “Choice & Decision Making for Employability & Workplace Readiness,” with emphasis on equipping students with practical SEL skills needed for academic growth, workplace readiness, and sustainable development. Key messages delivered during the programme included: • Choice is constant, personal, and has consequences. • Choices can make or mar, they shape who you become, not chance. • The future is built by decisions, not by waiting for opportunities. Using relatable real-life scenarios, the facilitator introduced students to practical SEL decision-making tools anchored on self-awareness. Students actively applied these tools to situations involving academics, peer pressure, and workplace-related challenges. The session recorded impressive engagement as students reflected deeply, unlearned limiting beliefs, and embraced values-based decision making. The programme also inspired a stronger sense of personal responsibility and future orientation among participants.
